The Board met in regular session and heard about Counselors week, CTE month and heard from Ms Pruitt as well as our student FBLA Treasurer. Ms Pruitt spoke about bringing joy back into the classroom post-pandemic while preparing our students for life after graduation. Her passion is amazing! She recently traveled with eighteen FBLA members to compete and they all placed and qualified for the state competition in April. Ms Pruitt partners with Arvest Bank and they meet regularly with our Junior Bank Board about personal finance, professionalism, networking, soft skills and how to present yourself to the workforce. Certifications that our students work towards in Ms. Pruitt's survey of business class are Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Our FBLA Treasurer said fundraisers are her favorite because of how much they bring everyone together. Ms Pruitt and her FBLA members are working on fundraising opportunities and accepting donations to support the trip to state. #Gr8Day2BaPirate
