Greenland Schools will be in session on 2/7 with limited bus routing. Please note buses will be limited to clear paved roads only.
Bus G will not run any of its regular route,but bus riders can be picked up at Micky’s at 7:05.
Bus I will be running hwy 71 only.
Bus A will be running regular but will only be picking up at the bottom of rocky creek hill.
Bus B will run regular.
Bus C will be regular except no hog valley or Tony Mtn. road.
Bus D will be running paved roads only.Bus D riders can be picked up at hwy 71.
Bus H will be running paved roads only and will be turning around at the end of the pavement.
Bus F will be running regular .
Bus E will be running regular.
Our special needs route will not be running. Thank you.

Due to Inclement weather - the Senior night ceremony will be moved to Monday, Feb. 7th. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm. Then following the ceremony will be the Sr. High Girls game and Sr. High Boys.

Greenland will be closed 2/4. This will be a good ole fashioned snow day! We hope you all enjoy the beauty and magic of this day and hope to see you Monday. Stay warm and safe. We are looking to attend on 2/21 instead of being out as previously planned, we will update that later


Greenland Schools will be utilizing an AMI day again, Thursday 2/3. Thank you for your understanding about weather forecasting and timing of storms but we will always focus on safety of our families first! Please access online classrooms and contact school personnel as needed.


The following surplus items (desks, tables, cabinets, stove) are available for purchase/fair market value as we work to eliminate inventory that is crowding storage. Please contact Mason Greening, Facilities Supervisor at mgreening@greenlandsd.com for items of interest.





I am excited to announce two free Virtual ACT prep opportunities.
One is through the Clinton Foundation on February 5th. Students can find more information and register at the following link.

The other is on February 16th. It has limited virtual seating and students will need to sign up through Mrs. Larkan, Mrs Garrett, or myself.

Senior Night Info
As of today - Sr. Night will begin after the Jr. High Boys basketball game on Friday, Feb.4th - which should end at approximately 6pm. Parents/Guardians or other escorts should arrive at the High School gym around 5:45pm to await the ceremony. Line-up will begin directly after the Jr. High Boys game in the lobby area on the visitor’s side.

GSD will host a Covid Vaccine Clinic January 28th. Ages 5 and up are eligible for their first or second dose. Ages 12 and up are eligible for a booster if the second primary dose was at least 5 months ago. Email nhaines@greenlandsd.com for elementary or bmeadors@greenlandsd.com for middle school and high school and a consent form will be sent home with your child. You are welcome to call the office as well. Thank you!!

The night coronation ceremony will start at 5:30. Games will follow ceremony.

Very slick and poor conditions on our bus routes will push us to another AMI day for 1/21; Please continue to stay warm and safe and watch for additional messages from your building principals regarding instruction and other events. Breakfast and Lunch will be available for pickup from 730-130 at HS cafeteria. Thank you.
