GMS and GHS Choir Concert! #Gr8Day2BaPirate
CTE students had the opportunity to tour some local businesses to learn about different careers in our area. We visited Northwest Arkansas Sheet metal and learned about everything from building ducts to designing duct systems in CAD. Then we visited WT Tractor and P&K Equipment and learned the ins and outs of those businesses from sales to parts to service and the different careers students can get within these types of companies.
The students gained a lot of knowledge from this trip and we are excited to have a successful first industry tour and look forward to more in the future. #Gr8Day2BaPirate

Congratulations to Aloysia Reynolds and Tyler Faulkinberry! They auditioned for the ASBOA Region 7 Honor Band and Aloysia was selected to the 2nd Band, 11th Chair in the Percussion Section. Tyler is 2nd Alternate in the Tuba Section. Great job to both of these students! #Gr8Day2BaPirate

Our newest member of Pirate Nation is Cyber. He will assist Chief of Police Tyler Underwood on the Human Trafficking Task Force. In the District, Cyber will help locate devices and serve as a therapy dog. Some of the electronics Cyber can locate are vapes, thumb drives and smart cards. #Gr8Day2BaPirate
