5th grade toured Prairie Grove Battlefield Park today to learn more about the Civil War. The even experienced some of the same weather the soldiers dealt with…cold with SNOW!! #WeAreGMS #WeLearn
Congrats to our GHS E-Sports Teams!!!! Pirate A-Team is #1 in the state with a record of 5-0 and Pirate B-Team is #17 in the state with a record of 4-1. Keep it up!!!
Just a reminder that picture day is coming up Friday, April 8th. Forms can be picked up in the GHS office. HS Baseball/Softball/Dance pictures are this day as well.
Schedule Updates:
April 14th will be a full day, no early release.
School will be in session April 15th dismissing at 1:30.
The last day of school will be May 26th.
Attention Middle School Pirates: Spring Pictures are April 8th as well as fall retakes and pictures will be taken of those who were absent or not enrolled for fall pics. This photo session is a bit different than fall pics in that only students purchasing spring pictures will be photographed. Yesterday students from the GHS FFA Mechanics and Poultry teams traveled to Arkansas Tech to compete in the Northwest District CDE contest. Poultry gave a good effort but was not able to make it out of district. Our mechanics team (Rob Morgan, Seth Center, Jaden Kenyon, and Jackson Gaither) placed 5th at district and will advance to the State CDE contest on April 8th. Rob Morgan was 7th high individual.
We are extremely proud of all of these students for putting in the work to get them where they are!!!
